Electro-hydraulic drive unit, 14.4v Li-Ion 1.3Ah battery pack, rapid charger (choice of voltage 110v or 240v) and sturdy steel case.

Automatic circuit control (ACC) provides secure crimping within seconds and automatic locking of the pressing tongs.

Pressing Tongs

High compression pressing tongs manufactured from specially hardened steel with Rems technology. Tong contours are system specific and correspond perfectly to the respective pressfitting system giving perfect, safe press jointing.

Execution

Light, small and extremely handy, the drive unit with battery weighs just 2.4kg (with Li-Ion battery pack). And the overall length of the tool front to back (with pressing tongs) is just 34cm making this the tool of choice when working in confined areas.

Extremely well balanced tool suitable for single handed operation including freehand and overhead situations.
Swivelling tong seat allows access to pipe work from different angles making confined area more accessible.

ACC Pressing Operation

Automatic circuit control (ACC) gives simple one button operation of perfect joint pressing, jaws automatically retract following completion of operation.

Drive

The unit provides enormous pressing force for fast and perfect press jointing.

Powerful electro-hydraulic drive with 290w motor (12v option) or 420w (14.4v option), hard wearing planetary gear system, eccentric reciprocating pump, compact high power hydraulic system and safety tip switch.

Battery or Mains operation

Li-Ion technology is available as a 14.4v Li-Ion battery pack available in 1.3Ah and 2.2Ah (for larger number of pressings). Li-Ion batteries are 20% faster than their Ni-Cd counterpart, are lighter and their high density means they will give up to 50% more operations. The Li-Ion batteries are protected from overheating and overloading by temperature monitor (NTC). A 1 hour fast charger is supplied as standard and Li-Ion batteries do not suffer from memory effect. A 230v adaptor for mains operation is available as an accessory.
